Glyn Owen: creator of Systems' Coaching
As a former Chartered Engineer, Glyn is a specialist in the field of engineering organization and management.
Specifically, his passion is to support Change Leaders, Strategic and Technical Consultants to identify new ways to think about and deliver innovation, transformation and organization development.
This is achieved by sharing specialist solutions, knowledge, skill and experience that include:- management consultancy, systems thinking, psychology, improvement, organization design, culture, change management, strategic planning, innovation with a advanced coaching and advisory practice.
Glyn's early career was in the field of engineering management; becoming a professional 'Chartered' engineer
and achieving a masters degree in Engineering Management. During this period, as a senior manager, he experienced and specialised in progressive, highly challenging, fast track, design and build, partnering projects and programmes.
Insights and solutions forged during these projects launched a 20 year career as a strategic management consultant, in part, creating and piloting the systems' coaching approach.
Operating predominantly although not exclusively within the engineering, utilities and construction sectors gaining both private and public sector advisory experience. He has served in PMO's and in relationship to a wide variety of boutique consultancies that include technical, value management. innovation, insight, organisation transformation & coaching.
Notably he achieved finalist at the U.K. national Business Awards, in 2004, with his design of Systems' Coaching applied as an internal organisation system.
